چکیده

We consider a constant coefficient parabolic equation of order 2m and establish the existence of solutions to the initial-Dirichlet problem in cylindrical domains. The lateral data is taken from spaces of Whitney arrays which essentially require that the normal derivatives up to order m−1 lie in L2 with respect to surface measure. In addition, a regularity result for the solution is obtained if the data has one more derivative. The boundary of the space domain is given by the graph of a Lipschitz function. This provides an extension of the methods of Pipher and Verchota on elliptic equations to parabolic equations.

On boundary value problems of higher order abstract fractional integro-differential equations

The aim of this paper is to establish the existence of solutions of boundary value problems of nonlinear fractional integro-differential equations involving Caputo fractional derivative by using the techniques such as fractional calculus, H"{o}lder inequality, Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem and nonlinear alternative of Leray-Schauder type. Examples are exhibited to illustrate the main resu...

A MIXED PARABOLIC WITH A NON-LOCAL AND GLOBAL LINEAR CONDITIONS

Krein [1] mentioned that for each PD equation we have two extreme operators, one is the minimal in which solution and its derivatives on the boundary are zero, the other one is the maximal operator in which there is no prescribed boundary conditions. They claim it is not possible to have a related boundary value problem for an arbitrarily chosen operator in between. They have only considered lo...

Nonlocal Boundary Value Problems for Elliptic-Parabolic Differential and Difference Equations

The abstract nonlocal boundary value problem −d2u t /dt2 Au t g t , 0 < t < 1, du t /dt − Au t f t , 1 < t < 0, u 1 u −1 μ for differential equations in a Hilbert space H with the self-adjoint positive definite operator A is considered. The well-posedness of this problem in Hölder spaces with a weight is established. The coercivity inequalities for the solution of boundary value problems for el...

Maximal regular boundary value problems in Banach-valued function spaces and applications

The nonlocal boundary value problems for differential operator equations of second order with dependent coefficients are studied. The principal parts of the differential operators generated by these problems are non-selfadjoint. Several conditions for the maximal regularity and the Fredholmness in Banach-valued Lp-spaces of these problems are given. By using these results, the maximal regularit...

The Dependence of Solution Uniqueness Classes of Boundary Value Problems for General Parabolic Systems on the Geometry of an Unbounded Domain

General boundary value problems are considered for general parabolic (in the Douglas–Nirenberg–Solonnikov sense) systems. The dependence of solution uniqueness classes of these problems on the geometry of a nonbounded domain is established. The dependence of solution uniqueness classes of the first boundary value problem for a second-order parabolic equation in an unbounded domain on the domain...
